TOWN OF BLAINE – BURNETT COUNTY – WISCONSIN

Blaine is a picturesque Township located in northern Burnett County.  An area well-known for:

  • Recreation including water sports, snowmobiling and ATV trails
  • Fishing
  • Hunting including grouse, deer, bear, bobcats and coyotes.

These are area lakes in the town:

  • Big McGraw Lake
  • Little McGraw Lake
  • No Mans Lake
  • Bass Lake
  • Richart Lake
  • Bradley Lake

And four rivers:  the St. Croix and Namekagon, known for summer canoeing; the Tamarack and the Totagatic River.

There are also Chases Brook, Hay Creek, Perkins Creek, Dogtown Creek, Clemens Creek, Glendenning Creek, some of which are known to be trout streams.

The Town of Blaine has two cemeteries:

  • Hillcrest Cemetery located on State Road 35.
    For information on purchasing a lot in the cemetery, contact the Clerk.                     
    Please note: you must be a land owner to purchase a lot(s).
  • Evergreen Cemetery located in the Barrens area.
    Burial is not possible due to unknown grave sites.

  • Robertson’s Tavern  

NORTHLAND COMMUNITY CENTER

The Northland Community Center is available to rent on a daily/event basis.  Contact Rita Ronningen, Clerk, townofblaine@centurytel.net.

Senior lunch is served Tuesdays and Thursdays at noon.  Contact Pat Kinblom for the necessary reservations.  Pat can be contacted at the Northland Community Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 715-244-3354.
