SPECIAL MEETING – APPOINTMENT OF NEW TOWN CLERK
Tuesday, February 16, 2010
Chairman Dan Dyson called the Special Meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. Those in attendance were Supervisor Carlson and Pearson and Clerk Willett.
The scheduled first to be interview was Rita Ronningan at 7:00 p.m. Kim DePover was interviewed at 7:30 p.m.
Board members asked a variety of questions ranging from background and why they are interested in the position to the ability to interpret laws and regulations. Also, the board questioned about their availability and ability to attend various meetings out of the town.
After much discussion, Supervisor Pearson made the motion to appoint Rita Ronningan as Clerk, however if Rita declines the position, it will be offered to Kim DePover. The motion was seconded by Supervisor Carlson. Motion passed.
Chairman Dyson will phone each applicant informing them of the board decision. Dori was directed to write a letter informing each of the decision and thanking them for their time and effort they put into applying for the position,.
Supervisor Pearson made the motion to adjourn the Special Meeting. Supervisor Carlson seconded the motion. Motion passed.
The Special Meeting was adjourned at 8:23 p.m.
